Show-Me Classic car auction to be rescheduled

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – The Show-Me Classic Collector Car Auction, originally set for Saturday, June 1, is now canceled.

According the Facebook page, organizers plan to reschedule for a later date. It’s not clear what the reason for the cancelation is, or when the event will be moved to.

An event is pulling into the Heartland this summer for fans of classic cars.

Ray Maynard, an organizer of the Show-Me Classic Collector Car Auction, said cars will fill the parking lot of Century Casino in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Maynard explained people are welcome to come out to view the cars, whether they’re participating in the auction or not.

Right now, hundreds of classic cars are expected to be there for auction.
