
Body shop helps Oklahoma family after unfinished truck repairs
OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR)- A Yukon family told KFOR in December they were out thousands of dollars in parts and labor after the auto repair shop they were working with closed before finishing repairs, but after Tuesday afternoon, they have a new sense of relief.
Bob Tomko was involved in a car accident in December 2021.
He and his wife, Mary had been searching high and low for a reliable mechanic.
It dawned on Mary that her company was leasing space to someone she deemed trustworthy: Blockheads Auto Repair in Mustang.
The pair ended up hiring Blockheads and wrote a check for $2,050 up front on June 23.
The memo line read the money was for “truck parts and labor.”

That check was cashed almost immediately, according to Mary.
The Tomkos said the owner of Blockheads, Travis Harrison informed them he’d need to purchase the necessary parts directly from Ford.
Harrison told KFOR he received the parts, but because he knew he was closing down shop soon, he sent the parts back to Ford so he couldn’t be “accused of stealing.”
However, a representative with Ford told KFOR Blockheads Auto Repair is not affiliated with the company and they don’t sell parts directly to repair shops.
That representative also said for them to find out if Harrison or Blockheads ever purchased the parts, they’d need the name of the local dealership Harrison was working with.
News 4 was unable to obtain that information as Harrison made it clear he didn’t want to go on the record with any further information and claimed we were harassing him by asking for his side of the
