Car dealership debuts in Mount Pleasant

The Galeana Automotive Group has announced the opening of their Jeep/Chrysler new location in Mount Pleasant. A prestigious player in the automotive community, Galeana operates dealerships in Michigan, Florida, and until recently, Columbia, South Carolina. The Columbia dealership operated from 1988 through 2023 and for 35 years was one of the top dealerships in the state. This location was sold last year to devote time and energy to the stellar new facility in Mount Pleasant. The Galeana name won’t be unfamiliar, as sales to customers from the Lowcountry have been very common over the past three decades. Those seeking excellent service took the well-loved jingle to heart and often made the drive. “Gotta Go, Gotta Go to Galeana” has been on your radio for years and Galeana looks forward to welcoming customers to the new location for many more.

The Galeana Group was started in 1974 by Frank Galeana in Warren, Michigan. They expanded into the Fort Myers, Florida market in 1981 and into South Carolina in 1988. Galeana Automotive Group has received numerous industry and community awards over the years, including being granted one of only 36 dealerships to represent the Saturn brand when they launched in the 1980s. Mr. Galeana committed to the superior customer experience very early on. This, combined with sincere value and respect for his staff, set the precedence for the way they still do business today. After his passing in 2010, the group is now managed by Carl Galeana, Frank Galeana Jr. and Roseann Galeana McBain. The group has represented many brands throughout the decades and currently represents Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Kia.

For over 50 years this family-owned business has flourished. This is not only due to the conscientious approach to their business, but equally important is the dedication to the communities they call home.
