A new AutoZone Auto Parts opened March 13 in Maryville, making it the third autopart-specified store in town.

Autozone Auto Parts is a store where customers can get auto parts or accessories for any car, truck or SUV. Customers can also talk to employees to get any needed help or advice regarding their vehicle.

Store Manager Michael Frankovich said the store’s employees provide plenty of expertise and experience ready to help out clients.

“It gives the community a new option for auto parts and accessories along with expertise about certain repairs needed for vehicles,” Frankovich said. “In the store, there is about probably 20 years worth of automotive experience.”

Alongside the employees and offered expertise, there are also multiple free services available to customers. Outside of the store, there are advertisements for free battery charging and free part testing. Every AutoZone Auto Parts in the United States will check any alternator, starter or battery for free, according to the Maryville AutoZone Auto Parts website.

There is also a free Loan-A-Tool Program that is suggested to any customer. This program provides specialty tools to individuals that they can borrow to complete any repair or check any systems within their vehicle. Once the tool is done being used, the customer returns it back to the location they got it.

Another service AutoZone offers is a free check engine light service called Find Fixer, where customers can have an employee check a vehicle’s engine error code then suggest ways and parts to solve that issue.

Maryville resident Ron Sovotka said he had a good experience at his first visit to the new AutoZone Auto Parts.

“This is the first time I’ve been in there, and it was great,” Sovotka said.

Sovotka was getting a battery service done while visiting AutoZone Auto Parts. Inside the  Maryville location, there are eight different featured battery products offered.

Another advertised category on the AutoZone Auto Parts website are the provided break products. In Maryville, there are eight featured break products.

AutoZone Auto Parts is located at 1406 S. Main St., where Brown’s Shoe Fit Company previously stood. The store is open 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and on Sundays, it is open 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Frankovich said in the first couple of weeks, business has been slow, but he expects this to change.

“I think we’re on our second official week of being open, but it’s a little slow, unfortunately,” Frankovich said. “It has slowly been picking up once the word’s been getting out that we are here.”
