THE COMMUNITY RIGHT? YEAH, MANY ARE REMEMBERING TONY GANTHER, WHO WAS KILLED AT HIS OWN BODY SHOP IN DEL CITY. AND RIGHT NOW YOU CAN SEE MANY OF THE LOWRIDERS RIGHT THERE BEHIND ME. AND SOME OF THEM EVEN TO THE RIGHT IN THERE RIGHT NOW, GETTING OUT OF THIS PARKING LOT, HEADING OFF ON AN END OF THE YEAR CRUISE TO REMEMBER TONY, WHO WAS A BIG PART OF THEIR COMMUNITY. NOW OWNERS OF SOME OF THESE CARS TOLD ME THAT TONY HAD A HAND IN IT FROM HYDRAULICS TO THEIR PAINT JOBS AND MORE. NOW DEL CITY POLICE SAY THEY ARE INVESTIGATING HIS DEATH. THEY SAY HE WAS FOUND SATURDAY AFTERNOON LAST WEEKEND AT HIS SHOP WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND. AND IT HAS BEEN AN EMOTIONAL TIME FOR BOTH THE FAMILY AND THE LOWRIDING COMMUNITY. SO TODAY, THEY’RE ALL REMEMBERING HIM. HE WAS THE FRIENDLY, EVERYBODY’S FRIEND. I’MA DO WHAT I CAN FOR YOU. SO, YOU KNOW THIS, THIS, THIS IS. THIS IS BIG. THIS IS. THIS IS LARGE. IT’S VERY LARGE. TONY HAS BEEN A BIG PART OF THE COMMUNITY SINCE HE WAS, FROM WHAT I KNOW FROM HIM, SINCE HE WAS A CHILD. TONY WAS A BROTHER TO ALL OF US. AND HE WAS A GREAT PERSON. HE NEVER HAD A MEAN, MEAN ARGUMENT. NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT ANYBODY. HE WOULD LITERALLY COME OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SNOWSTORM IF YOU NEEDED HELP AND HELP YOU. NOW, IN DEL CITY’S LAST UPDATE TO US, THEY SAID THEY HADN’T MADE ANY ARRESTS, AND I REACHED OUT TO THEM TODAY BUT HAVEN’T HEARD BACK. Car enthusiasts held a cruise in honor of Tony Ganther, who was found killed at his Del City auto body shop. They said the day he died, they lost an important member of their community.
